Dave Brubeck – An American Jazz Pianist

How odd.  I was writing a post for my other blog, MagisBlogger and was looking for mellow jazz piano piece to go along with my post.  I found one to my liking on SoundCloud, however, something peaked my interest and I searched for “American Jazz Pianists”.  The top search results had “Dave Brubeck”.  Naturally I clicked through them to hear his work…

To my surprise, he recently passed at the age of 91.  I’m intrigued.  Was it kismet?

Regardless, his work seems to high critically acclaimed and I will work on learning more about Mr. Brubeck.
